How Credits Work and How to Purchase Them in Evalubox

In Evalubox, we offer a flexible Pay As You Go (PAYG) model for users who prefer to pay for premium features only when they need them. If you don’t have an active subscription, credits are used to access premium products like Parent/Teacher/Health forms or language sampling. Here’s everything you need to know about how credits work and how to purchase them.

How Credits Work

• Pay-As-You-Go Model: By default, all users without a subscription are on a Pay As You Go plan. This means you’ll be prompted to purchase a credit before accessing any premium product, such as sending forms or conducting language samples.

  Cost of Credits: Each credit costs $5. One credit can be used for:

  • Sending multiple Parent/Teacher/Health forms for a single child (with translations available in 16 languages).
  • Collecting and analyzing a language sample.
• Flexible Use: Credits can be applied to any premium tool you need, whether it’s forms or language sampling. This allows you to use Evalubox only as needed, making it a cost-effective option if your workload fluctuates.
• No Expiration: Once you purchase credits, they don’t expire. This means you can keep them in your account and use them whenever you’re ready, without worrying about time limits.
• Non-Refundable: Please note that credits are non-refundable. Make sure to purchase them based on your anticipated usage.
• Account Access: Even if you don’t have an active subscription, you’ll always have access to your Evalubox account and all the free tools (such as the Chronological Age Calculator, Language Use and Exposure Calculator, and goal banks). You don’t need to maintain an active subscription to keep using these free resources.

How to Purchase Credits

If you don’t have an active subscription, you’ll be prompted to purchase credits when attempting to use any premium feature. Alternatively, you can also purchase credits manually through your account settings. Here’s how:

1. Go to the Billing Page:
   • Navigate to the Settings menu in your Evalubox account.

   • Select the Billing tab.

     Purchase Credits:

   • Click on Purchase Credit to buy the number of credits you need.

   • You can purchase just one credit or multiple credits at once, depending on your anticipated use.

     When You Need Credits:

   • You’ll only be able to purchase credits if you don’t have an active subscription. This is because subscriptions already include full access to all premium products, eliminating the need for credits.

Credits are ideal for users who want to pay for what they use without committing to a monthly or annual subscription. You can manage your costs and ensure that you’re only paying for the premium tools you need when you need them. This flexibility allows you to scale up or down based on your current workload without any ongoing subscription fees.

If you decide you need more consistent access to premium products, consider upgrading to a subscription plan for unlimited usage. But until then, credits offer a convenient way to access Evalubox’s premium features on your own terms.
